Shirley Bankston has been a teacher with the Hope Center for 21 years and believes that each child is important and unique and can learn when allowed to reach their full potential within a safe and nurturing environment. Bankston earned a bachelor's degree from Metropolitan State University of Denver and is an Early Childhood Education certified group leader and director qualified professional. In addition, she holds an Early Childhood professional credential level 6 with the Colorado Department of Human Services and the Colorado Department of Education, certifying a professional with increased knowledge and experience to care for and educate children. She had four children attend the Hope Center Preschool Program.
